Dear Friends,

The idealogy of our institution is to impart value based education, to create awareness of human values and to preserve our ancient culture.

All of us know that victories are gained, peace is preserved, progress is achieved, civilization is built and history is made, not on battle-fields, where ghastly murders are committed in the name of patriotism, not in the lecture halls where inspired speeches are spun out in the name of debate,

not even in factories where novel instruments are manufactured to struggle life, but in educational institutions which are the seed-beds of culture, where students in whose hands quiver the destinies of the future are trained. From the ranks will come out when they grow up, statesman and soldiers, patriots and philosophers who will determine the progress ofthis land. In this endeavour we will grow young in spirits as we grow old in times, age

will not wrinkle our activities, damp our enthusiasm.

Discipline is the crown and glory of education. So the foundation for a healthy discipline which alone is conducive to peace, progress and prosperity is to be well and truly laid in our educational institutions. Discipline is a mark of superior strength.

Besides academic excellence and discipline we are striving hard to achieve character formation and personality development. Personality is the halo of the soul, the perfume of character, the auroma that is spread by the cumulative influence of strength, beauty, wisdom, purity and service.

Apart from this the proposed reforms of education ranging from granting autonomy to well established institutions and del inking degree from the PU education and to allow educational institutions to grow and expand their activities in the field of research and training is giving lot of opportunities to the institution in shaping the future generation.

Sri Hindi Shikshan Sangh is a leader in setting up of educational institutions and its main aim is organised in providing good and quality education to all irrespective of religion, language and social status.

Infact, we are associated with this programme in the educational field for the last fifty years and in capacity of Secretary ofthe Sangh, I had the opportunity to guide, supervise, organise and develop various activities of this institution for the last twenty years.

In 1990, we started a commerce college in English medium in Indiranagar with a strength of 14 only. Later on Science & Management wings were also added. Now the strength in our college exceeds one thousand.

All this growth is only an indication of faith and co-operation envisaged in us by the public and dedicated teaching faculty along with all the Honourable members of our sangh who are the building blocks of our institution.

I personally express my heartfelt thanks to one and all.
