  • The college attaches importance to attendence. Leave of absence from the college must be applied for in advance. The college expects students to have 90% attendence in all subjects
  • Leave of absence for a portion of a class may be obtained from the lecturer in charge. Leave for one or several hours must be obtained from the Principal in writing, well in advance.

  • Absence during the college examinations without valid reason will be seriously viewed. In case of illness a medical certificate must be produced.

  • As per the existing rules, a student shall not be permitted to appear for the final examination, if he fails to attend 75% of the classes. However the college has complete authority to allow the student to take up the examinations only if he/she has attended three-fourth of the number of working hours in each subject during the academic year and his/her conduct and progress have been found satisfactory. Co-curricular activities are not consid­ered to be part of the working hours.
  • Students are not allowed to loiter on verandahs during class hours, even when they have a free period. They must either study in any class room, which is empty or spend the time use­fully in the library.
  • Students should be neat and tidy in dress and maintain a sense of decorum and discipline at all times, inside and outside the college. Serious misconduct will not be tolerated. Those who are guilty of serious misconduct are liable to be expelled.
  • Smoking, loitering in the college premises, defacing the wall etc. are punishabl.e offences.
  • Students are not allowed to join any clubs or societies which may interfere with their studies unless they have the principal's per­mission for the same.
  • They are advised not to indulge in any activity against the Col­lege.
  • Students who have bicycles or other two-wheelers should keep them locked at the stand and should obtain a token for them at the beginning of the year or term.
  • Students have to abide by the rules and regulations of the college as per the declaration given at the time of admission.
